TitleOverexpression of endoplasmic reticulum acetyl-CoA transporter AT-1 alters neuronal metabolism, growth, and synaptic activity
DescriptionThe metabolite acetyl-CoA plays a central role in cellular metabolic homeostasis. The neuronal response to changes in acetyl-CoA flux is incompletely understood. This analysis allows us to better understand how the brain responds to changes in cellular acetyl-CoA utilizaton. This dataset was derived from cortical tissue from wildtype and transgenic mice that systemically overexpressed the endoplasmic reticulum acetyl-CoA transporter SLC33A1/ AT-1. Mice were 3-4 months old at time of collection.
