Dataset Summary
TitleAdipose-derived PRDM16-dependent effectors
DescriptionWe sought out to identify adipose-derived PRDM16-dependent effectors modulating choroidal neovascularization. To answer this query, iWAT fat pads were collected from naive Adipo-Cre-PRDM16+/+ mice, dissociated, and preadipocytes were plated in separate dishes. 4-hydroxytamoxifen or vehicle (ethanol) treatments were given for 3 consecutive days. Cells subsequently underwent an adipocyte differentiation protocol. After 8 days of differentiation, adipocytes were incubated in basal media for 48 hours. Cell culture medium was collected and combined to obtain triplicates (3 individual wells were pooled per sample) and analyzed by LC-MS/MS analysis.
