DescriptionProtein-protein interactions (PPIs) are the basis of cellular functioning. In the cell nucleus, fundamental processes such as DNA replication, transcription and repair take place through the interaction of different proteins and complexes involving mainly histone proteins. The Trypanosoma cruzi parasite is an interesting model to study these nuclear interactions, especially involving histones and their post-translational modifications (hPTMs).
