| Description | This study resolves a critical paradox: why noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) does not universally progress to tinnitus. Through integrated proteomics and phosphoproteomics of auditory cortex tissue, we establish that tinnitus pathogenesis is driven by phosphorylation-mediated network dysregulation, fundamentally distinct from NIHL’s transcriptional-level changes. |
