TitleProteomic analysis of FABP5 oxidative modifications in LPS-stimulated BMDMs under antioxidant treatment
DescriptionThis study aims to investigate the oxidative modifications of FABP5 in macrophages during inflammatory stimulation and how these changes are affected by antioxidant treatment. Bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) were pretreated with 5 mM N-acetylcysteine (NAC) or 250 μM Tempol for 2 hours, followed by stimulation with 500 ng/mL LPS for 30 minutes. Cytoplasmic proteins were extracted, FABP5 was immunoprecipitated, and the immunoprecipitated proteins were analyzed by LC-MS/MS to identify oxidative modifications of FABP5 and determine the regulatory effects of antioxidants under inflammatory conditions.
