| Description | Adult red shell (group R) and white shell (group W) clams were obtained from Ningbo Yongsheng Aquatic Seedlings Co. Ltd, Xiangshan County. These two-year-old clams exhibited an average shell length of 42.23 ± 4.62 mm, shell width of 23.42 ± 4.38 mm, shell height of 33.64 ± 3.83 mm, and wet weight of 25.57 ± 2.13 g, were maintained in an inflatable aquarium.After acclimatization, mantle tissues were dissected from each group, and transcriptomic (n=3), proteomic (n=3) and melanin content (n=16) analyses were conducted respectively. |
