PXD060396-1

PXD060396 is an original dataset announced via ProteomeXchange.

Dataset Summary
TitleKnockdown of endocytosis-related proteins in Trypanosoma brucei (TbVPS23)
DescriptionTbVPS23 is part of the ESCRT-I (endosome-sorting complex required for transport-I) complex in Trypanosoma brucei. Moreover, TbTOM1 is an ortholog of human TOM1, which was identified in Trypanosomes by bioinformatic approaches, and is potentially implicated in endocytosis. We wanted to further investigate TbVSP23 and TbTOM1 functions. Using a gene silencing (RNAi) approach we wanted to gain insights on possible effects on vesicle sorting and/or other endocytosis-related activities. Controls from 2T1 cells (parental cells) are included in this set. Please note that this data set is paired to PXD060385, which includes data of TbTOM1 RNAi.
