PXD060004-1
PXD060004 is an original dataset announced via ProteomeXchange.
Dataset Summary
Title | CRISPR-edited iPSCs reveal BSN gene mutations induce neuronal hyperexcitability via astrocyte lipid accumulation |
Description | BSNM1903V / wt, BSNM1903V / M1903V, BSN 5672insCG / wt were found in several patients with epilepsy. CRISPR / Cas9 technology was used to generate BSN mutant iPSCs to explore the mechanism of epilepsy. BSN mutant iPSCs differentiate into neural stem cells. Proteomic sequencing showed that there were significant differences in lipid metabolism pathways. By further differentiation into astrocytes, it was further verified that BSN mutation stimulated excessive excitement of astrocytes through lipid accumulation, resulting in neuronal damage and seizures. |
