Dataset Summary
Title | Understanding the genetic and structural bases of hornworts' carbon-concentrating mechanism |
Description | Proteomic measurements to identify putative Rubisco interacting proteins in hornworts compared to the green alga Chlamydomonas, the traditional model for studying pyrenoid-based CO2-concentrating mechanisms (pCCM). Using antibodies and immunoprecipitation against hornwort Rubisco large subunits to pull down Rubisco and any proteins that bind to it. Samples were digested with trypsin, then analyzed by LC-MS/MS. Data was searched with MS-GF+ using PNNL's DMS processing pipeline against Anthoceros agrestis proteome. |
