Dataset Summary
Title | A rapid transcriptional opto-switch enables diatom acclimation to dynamic light |
Description | Diatoms outnumber other eukaryotic algae in the oceans, especially in coastal environments characterized by frequent fluctuations in light intensity. The mechanisms underlying their acclimation to high light stress are largely elusive. We identified an important light receptor gene responsible to high light stress sand explored the mechanisms by a series of physiological and biochemical methods. |
