Description	Naegleriavirus virions purified from the amoeboflagellate Naegleria clarki were analysed. The virus infects members of the genus Naegleria including the infamous human pathogen Naegleria fowleri, the causative agent of the rare but lethal disease primary amoebic meningoencephalitis.
