Title	Toxicity of chlorpyrifos to the ovary of Haemaphysalis longicornis and its effect on the expression of ovarian protein
Description	A tick is an ectoparasitic arthropod that sucks blood exclusively. It is widely distributed all over the world. Haemaphysalis longicornis has strong fecundity, and each female tick can lay thousands of eggs. The ovary is an important part of the reproductive system of female ticks and plays an important role in the reproductive process of female ticks. Therefore, the research on tick ovaries is of great significance for the effective prevention and control of this species. In this study, data-independent acquisition (DIA) proteomics was used to study the ovary of H. longicornis treated with organophosphorus insecticide chlorpyrifos. The dynamic changes of protein in the ovary of H. longicornis were analyzed under different doses of chlorpyrifos and different treatment time. The results showed that these differentially expressed proteins mainly included proteins related to material metabolism and energy regulation. They are mainly involved in the metabolic pathway, TCA cycle pathway, glycolysis and glycogenesis pathway, peroxisome pathway, and so on. This study not only further explores the molecular mechanism of tick tolerance to chlorpyrifos, but also provides new molecular targets and ideas for the development of new anti-tick vaccines and anti-tick drugs, which is of great significance in the integrated control of ticks.
