This study investigated proteomic changes in extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from TERT1-immortalized human renal proximal tubule epithelial cells (RPTECs) following inflammatory stimulation. EVs isolated from conditioned medium of cytokine-stimulated and unstimulated RPTECs were analyzed by discovery LC-MS/MS to characterize changes in their protein composition and identify exosome-associated proteins with tissue-specific expression.
