To decipher the mechanisms by which RavH modulates F-actin structures, we performed an affinity purification based SILAC (Stable Isotope Labeling with Amino Acids in Cell Culture) coupled mass spectrometry (MS)toidentify RavH-associated proteins. Cells expressing GFP-RavH or GFP alone were subjected to GFP immunoprecipitation, followed by quantitative MS analysis. We found that beta-actin was highly enriched when GFP-RavH was used as bait.
