Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) frequently resists apoptosis and immunotherapy due to MUC1 overexpression, which activates the MAPK-Elk-1-PD-L1 axis to promote immune evasion and suppress γδ T cell-mediated tumor killing. This study aimed to delineate this pathway and evaluate a biomimetic nanotherapeutic approach using γδ T cell membrane-camouflaged, MUC1-targeted nanoparticles loaded with GO-203 to induce tumor cell apoptosis and restore antitumor immunity.
