We applied a label-free mass spectrometry-based proteomic approach to comprehensively characterize the protein cargo of plasma-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) in individuals with a diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) compared with healthy volunteers to explore their potential as a diagnostic tool.
