This dataset comprises LC-MS/MS proteomic profiling of extracellular vesicles (EVs) and EV-depleted soluble secretomes isolated from paired macular and peripheral retinal pigment epithelium (RPE)-choroid explants of human donor eyes. It characterises region-specific EV cargo and secreted proteins, providing a resource for studies of macular specialisation and age-related retinal disease.
