This dataset contains TMT-10plex quantitative proteomics of serum isolated from monogamous deer mice (Peromyscus). The study investigates the systemic physiological impact of social interactions, specifically comparing pair-bonded animals to those that have experienced bond disruption. The circulating serum proteome was analyzed to identify factors that mediate peripheral tissue responses to social history. This serum data supports findings regarding the impact of social bonds on the lung transcriptome (Naderi et al., 2023, BMC Genomics) and systemic transcriptomic stochasticity/gene canalization in cultured cells.
