This project profiles heat stress (HS)-induced alterations in the mouse serum proteome to identify circulating proteins that are consistently regulated by HS. Mice were assigned to three groups: PF (pair-fed control at room temperature, RT), HS1D (daily HS for 1 day, 6 h/day), and HS7D (daily HS for 7 consecutive days, 6 h/day). The PF group serves as the shared control and was collected at the same time point as the HS1D group (RT, 1 day), providing a reference for HS-associated changes. The primary objective is to identify overlapping proteomic changes in both HS groups relative to PF, highlighting robust HS-responsive circulating proteins.
