To elucidate how SIRT1 inhibition modulates host immune responses by regulating protein acetylation status in the context of Salmonella infection, we performed quantitative acetylated proteomics analysis using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) on three groups of samples: Control (uninfected), Control+ST (infection only), and Inhibitor+ST (infection after SIRT1 inhibition).
