To prolong the retention period of platelets, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was employed for platelet storage at -80℃ to prevent hypothermic lesions. Accordingly, we established an experimental group with no 5% DMSO supplementation and a control group supplemented with 5% DMSO for comparative analysis. All samples were cryopreserved at -80 °C for 28 days. Each group comprised 6 independent biological replicates derived from distinct donors, resulting in a total of 12 samples subjected to untargeted metabolomics analysis.
