Glioblastoma (GB), the most frequent and aggressive primary adult brain tumour, remains an incurable disease and new therapeutic approaches are needed to improve patient care. The transcription factor EMX2 plays a key role in modulating the balance between neurogenesis and astrogenesis during brain development. This transcription factor has also been involved in tumor growth. To further investigate the role of EMX2 in GB, we used an EMX2-inducible U87 cells. Multi-omics analyses (ChIPseq, transcriptome, proteome and phosphoproteome) were performed in U87 cells expressing EMX2 or not in a timely delineated manner.
