This dataset was generated to investigate the systemic proteomic signature of male patients with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR), a retinal disease characterized by serous retinal detachment and vision loss. The goal was to identify differentially abundant serum proteins between CSCR patients and age-matched healthy controls, and to explore biological pathways implicated in disease pathogenesis, including complement activation, oxidative stress, and coagulation.
