In a rabbit heart failure model, resveratrol treatment restored cardiac function, normalized calcium handling, and reduced ventricular arrhythmia by reversing ion channel downregulation, fibrosis, apoptosis, and inflammation. These findings highlight resveratrol’s cardioprotective potential as a therapeutic strategy against arrhythmia in heart failure.
