During infection, the plant pathogenic bacterium Pseudomonas syringae translocates type 3 effector proteins into the host cell. Some of these effectors are ADP-ribosyltransferases that ADP-ribosylate host proteins to subvert plant innate immunity. The aim of this experiment was to identify ADP-ribosylated Arabidopsis thaliana proteins from transgenic lines that inducibly express the type 3 effectors AvrRpm1 or HopF2.
