Through immunoprecipitation–mass spectrometry of FBXO24, we identified histone H1 variants, TNP2, and pre-PRM2 as specifically enriched interactors, highlighting a tight link between FBXO24 and the spermiogenic chromatin-remodeling axis. Using Fbxo24^R387X/R387X^ mice, we demonstrated that FBXO24 promotes the timely clearance of H1 and TNP2 and modulates pre-PRM2 nuclear distribution, thereby facilitating PRM2 maturation and sperm chromatin condensation.
