We aim to reveal the changes of protein expression and function and identify predictive biomarkers with bulk and region proteomics based on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded intestinal tissues from those infants undergoing NEC surgeries and we expect to provide a new direction for the early prediction and potential targeted treatment of NEC.
