To identify phosphorylation sites on BubR1 that regulates its acetylation at lysine 250 (K250), LC-MSMS analysis was performed using HeLa cells expressing wild-type BubR1 (WT), an acetylation-deficient mutant (K250R), and an acetylation-mimetic mutant (K250Q).
