The aim of the EVENT Study (Extracellular Vesicles in Early preterm Neonates and Thrombin generation) was to characterise the circulating EVs in preterm infants, using multiple EV charac- terisation techniques, during the perinatal adaptation period and compare them to healthy full-term controls.
