Carotid atherosclerotic plaques refer to the formation of fibrofatty lesions in the walls of the carotid arteries. Unstable carotid atherosclerotic plaques are more likely to lead to the occurrence of stroke events. The aim of this study is to search for biomarkers that can be used to identify the stability of plaques.
