VAMP8 was first identified as an endosomal SNARE that participates in diverse biological functions, including autophagy fusion. We investigated the protein interaction and modification of VAMP8 upon starvation condition compared with normal condition, we thus excised the GFP-VAMP8 band from the Coomassie staining gels that observed in approximately (25-55Kda) and sent the excised gels for mass spectrum analysis, and the same time, we identified the potential candidate of E3 ligase for targeting VAMP8.
