The purpose of this study was to identify the composition of the chromatin remodeling complex SWI/SNF complex, and then to screen some genes from them, and construct mAID system knockout strains by CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing methods, and to carry out phenotypic experiments and transcriptome differentialomics analysis. It is speculated that this gene may regulate the transformation of Toxoplasma gondii from tachyzoites to merozoites. The above studies fill the knowledge gap for the functional exploration of chromatin remodeling complexes on Toxoplasma gondii and provide a theoretical basis for further research in the future.
