Here, we investigate the effect that a constant interaction of beta-2m with HLA-I molecules can have on what antigens and peptides are displayed upon direct- and cross-presentation. When beta-2m is linked to HLA-I molecules the antigenic landscape is modified compared to physiological conditions.
