TDP-43 is a primary pathogenic protein in both amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and frontotemporal dementia, but it’s accumulation and aggregation show regional variation, with abundant deposition in the cortex, and a much lower burden in the cerebellum. Here we use mass spectrometry analysis to compare the protein interactome of TDP-43 within the cortex and cerebellum of young healthy C57Bl/6J mice.
