Naïve CD4+ T cells were purified from the spleens using the EasySep Mouse Naïve CD4+ T Cell Isolation Kit (STEMCELL Technologies). The purified T cells were stimulated with plate-bound anti-CD3 (1 μg /ml) and anti-CD28 (2 μg/ ml) antibodies in replicate wells of 96-well plates.
