FKS1 is a β-1,3-glucan synthase that plays a critical role in fungal cell wall formation and serves as a key target for antifungal drugs such as echinocandin and ibrexafungerp. However, the molecular mechanisms regulating FKS1 activity remain largely unknown. This study identifies its endogenous inhibitor and stabilizing factor
