CAD interacts with and deamidates glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) and phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (PHGDH), which are rate-limiting enzymes of the PPP and SSP, respectively. Here we identified G6PD and PHGDH deamidation sites by mass spectrometry.
