To determine how ZIKV hijacks host-protein signaling, a global quantitative proteomics experiment was performed in A549 cells. Cells were harvested in biological triplicate at four time points post-ZIKV infection (0, 24, 48, or 72 hours). Employing a tandem mass tag(TMT)-based proteomics approach, we partitioned and analyzed each sample for alterations in global protein abundance at 24, 48, and 72 hours post-infection (hpi) in comparison to the baseline at 0 hpi, respectively.
