we investigated the bioflocculation removal of Microcystis via adhesive mucus secretion from the native gastropod Cipangopaludina chinensis. Proteins and polysaccharides are the major components of mucus that provide several functional groups beneficial to Microcystis bioflocculation. Proteomic analysis of was carried out through LC-MS\MS to investigate the functions of mucus proteins. Total of 247 proteins were identified. Gene Ontology analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analysis were performed on these identified proteins.
