C57BL/6 WT mice were infected with 1x10^6 P. brasiliensis yeasts. After 8 weeks and 12 weeks of infection the animals were euthanized and the granulomatous lesions were recovered. Then, the animals cells were lysed with distilled water and the yeast cell recovered. Once isolated, the yeasts proteins were extracted, digested with trypsin and analyzed by LC-MS/MS.
