One-year-old tea plant cuttings (C. sinensis cv. ‘Zhongcha 108’) were grown in a greenhouse under a 12-h photoperiod and at 22 °C and 70% RH. After the adventitious roots emerged, the cuttings were transferred to fresh solution without Se or supplemented with 5 μM Na2SeO3 or 5 μM Na2SeO4. After 48 h, roots were sampled for proteome analysis.
