Description | Worker honey bees were held in cages and subject to chronic heat stress or control conditions (see publication for experimental details). At the end of the experiment, hemolymph was collected by severing one antenna and retrieving the exuding liquid. Final sample sizes are 10 per cage and 30 per group. |
