| Description | Proposal of an S-Trap-based proteomics workflow for amyloid typing of EMBs coupled with a scoring algorithm based on protein intensities.The protocol and the algorithm have been validated by the comparison of MS-based diagnosis with immunohistochemistry diagnosis and patient clinical data. The study was conducted on 28 patients with a clinical diagnosis of CA and either an inconclusive IHC response or an atypical disease phenotype, that were selected for additional proteomics-based investigation. |
