Dataset Summary
TitleAcupuncture alleviates cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury through coordinated regulation of mitochondrial energy metabolism and synaptic plasticity: a proteomics study
DescriptionThis project contains mass spectrometry-based proteomic data generated from brain tissue samples of a rat middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion (MCAO/R) model. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were assigned to control, sham, model, and acupuncture groups. Quantitative proteomics based on 4D-FastDIA was performed to characterize acupuncture-associated protein abundance changes after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. Bioinformatics analyses were used to explore the functional relevance of differentially abundant proteins, with a focus on mitochondrial energy metabolism, translational regulation, membrane trafficking, and synaptic plasticity. Selected candidate proteins, including Slc25a24, P4htm, Cadm2, and Arfgap1, were further validated by parallel reaction monitoring (PRM). This dataset provides a proteomic resource for investigating acupuncture-associated molecular changes in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.
