PXD076389 is an
original dataset announced via ProteomeXchange.
Dataset Summary
| Title | Transferrin receptor 1 is a functional entry receptor for human parvovirus B19 |
| Description | Human parvovirus B19 (B19V) displays strict tropism for erythroid progenitor cells, governed by the VP1 unique region (VP1u), which mediates cell-specific uptake through interaction with an unknown cellular receptor. Proximity labeling in permissive erythroid cells identified transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1/CD71) as the predominant membrane protein associated with VP1u. |
