Dataset Summary
| Title | Comparative proteomic analysis of human iPSC derived dopaminergic neurons reveals model specific pathological signatures in Parkinsons disease |
| Description | To overcome the limitations of traditional Parkinson s disease models, we employed human iPSC derived dopaminergic neurons as a human centric experimental platform. We established three in vitro models using MPTP, 6 OHDA, and alpha synuclein PFFs, subsequently performing TMT based quantitative proteomics to enable a direct, unbiased comparison across conditions. By synthesizing differential expression and functional enrichment data, we identified shared and model enriched proteomic signatures. Our findings provide a systematic proteome level reference framework, facilitating evidence based model selection for studying the diverse molecular mechanisms underlying PD pathology. |
