DescriptionExtracellular vesicle (EV) therapeutics are an emerging frontier for tissue repair and regeneration with clinical utility, yet challenges in their manufacturer scalability, mode of administration for sustained bioactivity, and tissue-specific retention limit their translation. This study addresses these hurdles through an innovative biomaterial platform combining highly scalable iPSC-derived NVs with adhesive silk hydrogel patches for localized, sustained administration - offering a functional biodelivery platform. The versatility of this platform for localized, extended delivery of NVs that retain their integrity and bioactivity in cardiac cell remodeling can result in significant advancements across the fields of nanomedicine and biomedical engineering.
