PXD055891 is an original dataset announced via ProteomeXchange.

Dataset Summary
TitleLabel free comparison of the protein cargo of extracellular vesicles (EVs) isolated from SC5314 and ecm33∆ mutant cells of Candida albicans after 16 hours of growth in YPD medium
DescriptionGiven the tendency to substitute cellular vaccines with acellular ones, and the complete lack of virulence shown by the C. albicans cell wall mutant ecm33∆, we performed the characterization of its EVs and test their possible use as vaccine for invasive candidiasis. Label free proteomics was carried out comparing the protein cargo of extracellular vesicles (EVs) isolated from SC5314 and ecm33∆ mutant cells of Candida albicans after 16 hours of growth in YPD medium.
