PXD048156 is an original dataset announced via ProteomeXchange.

Dataset Summary
TitleHistone-like transcription factor Hfl1p in Candida albicans harmonizes nuclear and mitochondrial genomic network in regulation of energy metabolism and filamentation development
DescriptionOur findings shed light on Hfl1p's pivotal engagement in carbon metabolism and mitochondrial respiration, pivotal for shaping morphological shifts, particularly in impeding the transition from yeast to filamentous forms. The synergy between Hfl1 and target genes, indicated by consensus sequences, lays the groundwork for uncharted explorations. While our discoveries broaden our grasp of Hfl1's functional scope, their validation remains imperative. In this regard, we foster a deeper understanding of molecular dynamics, accentuating the interplay between mitochondrial function, energy modulation, and cellular morphology in C. albicans. These revelations not only enrich our comprehension of biology but also present fresh pathways of C. albicans for scrutinizing pathogenicity and adaptive responses to an array of environmental challenges.
