PXD047614

PXD047614 is an original dataset announced via ProteomeXchange.

Dataset Summary
TitlePulldown of human serum proteins with Trypanosoma brucei Invariant Surface Glycoprotein 75
DescriptionSubspecies of Trypanosoma brucei are the causative agents of Human African Trypanosomiasis (HAT) in Sub-Saharan Africa. The surface proteome of trypanosome parasites serves a critical function at the host-parasite interface and is essential for immune evasion. Most of the surface area is covered by the variable surface glycoproteins (VGSs). Embedded within the VSGs is the protein receptor Invariant Surface Glycoprotein 75 (ISG75) with unknown function. The project aims to identify potential ligands of ISG75 in human serum.
